Our weekly playgroup session continues to be a vital opportunity for parents of young children in the village to socialize and support one another. 

We have developed strong links with the pre-school section from Mousehole School – Mousehole Mice. A group of these pre-school children and their teachers regularly come along to our playgroup, and we enjoy doing activities, from dancing to crafts together. This gives a great opportunity for local parents to get to know the pre-school teachers and find out about the transition to primary school.

We also have several mums of older children who come along (without their children), who also use this group as an opportunity to socialize and get some support. We have been able to signpost attendees for further support with housing, access to funding and help from other agencies.
