Amanda Owens
Mandy moved to Mousehole with her family in 2002. She worked as an Educational Psychologist and manager in Children’s Services for Cornwall Council until 2021. She now works freelance as a trainer for other psychologists. She is a keen sea swimmer and walker and loves to garden.
Andrew Beard
Andrew is a retired architect, and was formerly City Architect in Sheffield. He moved to Cornwall a decade ago and lives in Paul. His activities now include printmaking, beekeeping, bassoon and contrabassoon playing, kayaking, gardening, and walking the coast path. He acted as a facilitator for the Mousehole Village Plan.
Diana Favell
Diana has spent her adult life in Bristol working as a Stage Manager, at the Bristol Old Vic and then
freelance for many national and international events including the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant in 2012. After visiting regularly, Diana and her husband Andrew Hilton moved to Mousehole 2 years ago.
Gemma Harvey
Born in Mousehole, Gemma is very passionate about the local community and has been involved since an early age with Mousehole Rowing Club as Head Coach and Catering Lead for Sea Salts & Sail Festival, which she’s been involved with since 2008. Gemma can also be seen on stage with the Porthenys Players Pantomime Group which raises money for charity each year.
Lizzie Black
Lizzie was brought up Newlyn and now lives with her family in Mousehole. She is an artist with a background in the visual arts, delivering community art projects, arts education in schools and teaching adults to paint. Lizzie devotes herself to her practice as a landscape painter and exhibits in galleries across the UK and West Cornwall.
Thalia Marrington
Thalia moved to Mousehole in 2007 and brought up her family here. She studied piano at the Royal College of Music and has predominantly worked in the Education/Cultural sector; latterly in West Cornwall across local schools as a piano teacher/governor until becoming the Cornwall Councillor here in 2021.
Tim Hubbard

Tim came to Cornwall in 1977 when he began teaching English and Drama at Newquay’s Treviglas School, becoming a presenter at BBC Radio Cornwall in 1983. Now freelance, he writes magazine features and books about Cornish gardens and also interviews other authors at literature festivals across the UK.
Tom Hender
(Chair and Treasurer)
Tom and his wife bought their house in Mousehole in 2011. Retiring to Cornwall after working in Financial and Property sectors. His family originate from St. Neot. He enjoys playing golf at Cape Cornwall, looking after his garden and being a trustee.
