We host regular exercise classes and run events to support health and wellbeing. We offer subsidised hall hire rates to qualified practitioners of exercise & wellbeing classes. We do this to enable more affordable opportunities for our community to get healthy.
Our Dance Into Fitness class, which is taught by Caroline Scanche, is an opportunity to have fun and get fit. With movements that can be adapted for any level of fitness or ability, the class attracts a range of ages and abilities.
We also offer Vinyasa Slow Flow Yoga at the Solomon Browne Hall, with beginner and intermediate classes taught by Sandra Cassidy.
In 2022 two new Pilates classes started up at the Hall, taught by Kate Newby. One class is aimed at intermediate level and the second is a remedial class for people who are recovering from injury or have not exercised for a long time.
By attending our events or hiring the hall you are helping to fund our community projects. If you would like to make a donation you can do so here.
