Festive community meals 2022

In pre-pandemic times we would host a Festive meal for the elderly and those who were on their own at Christmas. Since covid, we have delivered a festive meal and gifts instead. The meals, gifts and conversations on the doorstep were so well appreciated. 

To enable us to deliver this, we received additional funding from Cornwall Community Foundation, many donations from individuals, and donations of food from local companies. We are also very grateful to our two volunteer chefs and several others who have volunteered their time to cook and make the deliveries.

We had many comments and letters of thanks from the 52 recipients of these festive meals. Here are some of the comments:
